Ebenezer Newman Downard

Ebenezer Newman Downard (1830?-1889?) was a genre and landscape painter who exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1849 and 1889. In his use of meticulous detail and clear, bright light, some of his landscapes show the influence of the Pre-Raphaelite painters.
