Georgina Lara

Little is known of Georgina Lara. Even her dates are unknown; she flourished in the 1860s. She is believed by some to be the same person as Edward Masters because of a near identity of style. But in this case is the real person a female painter (Georgina Lara) masquerading occasionally as a male painter (Edward Masters), or is it the reverse? There must be an interesting story there.
